    Kid Cudi Reunites with Old Friend Josh Hartnett in New M. Night Shyamalan Film “Trap”

    Kid Cudi is set to make his mark in Hollywood once again with a role in the upcoming M. Night Shyamalan film, Trap. The rapper took to Instagram to share his excitement about starring alongside his old friend Josh Hartnett, who helped create one of his most iconic music videos.

    In Trap, Kid Cudi will play a role in a mystery thriller that follows a father and teen daughter attending a pop concert, only to realize they are at the center of a dark and sinister event. The film is set to hit theaters on August 2.

    Not only is Hartnett involved in the movie, but Kid Cudi’s longtime producer Dot Da Genius also revealed that he helped compose the score for the film. Dot expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to work on the project and praised the Night family for embracing him with open arms.

    Kid Cudi and M. Night Shyamalan’s relationship goes way back, with the director even gifting Cudi hardcover scripts of some of his most popular films for his 40th birthday earlier this year. The rapper expressed his gratitude for the thoughtful gift and praised Shyamalan as a mentor and guide in his life.

    With Trap set to be a thrilling and mysterious film, fans can look forward to seeing Kid Cudi shine on the big screen once again alongside his old friend Josh Hartnett.
