Gran Coramino Tequila, co-founded by comedian Kevin Hart and tequila maker Juan Domingo Beckmann, has made a significant impact by distributing over $1,000,000 USD in grant funds to support over 100 Black and Latinx small business owners and entrepreneurs through the Coramino Fund. This initiative, in partnership with the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), aims to empower underrepresented entrepreneurs across the U.S. and Mexico.

Since its launch in 2022, Gran Coramino Tequila has donated $1 from every bottle sold to help small businesses grow. The Coramino Fund in the U.S. has provided $10,000 grants to over 100 entrepreneurs from various industries, with a focus on supporting Black, Latinx, and women-owned businesses. This initiative has been praised for its impact on the economic backbone of communities and for addressing systemic barriers that hinder the success of underrepresented entrepreneurs.

Chef Frances Roman, owner of Cocotazo restaurant in New York City, shared her gratitude for the Coramino Fund grant, emphasizing the transformative effect it had on her business. With the grant, her restaurant was able to hire more employees and expand its operations, showcasing the tangible benefits of the support provided by Gran Coramino Tequila.

The brand’s philanthropic efforts extend to Tequila, Mexico, where its tequilas are crafted, through the Beckmann Foundation. Gran Coramino Tequila plans to further expand its Coramino Fund programming to support entrepreneurs throughout Mexico in the near future.

Gran Coramino Tequila’s commitment to celebrating life’s moments while giving back to communities through initiatives like the Coramino Fund highlights the brand’s dedication to making a positive impact on underrepresented entrepreneurs and small businesses.
