Eminem recently announced his upcoming album, “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grรขce),” catching many fans off guard. However, one particular fan seemed to have predicted this title two-and-a-half years ago.

Twitter user @thoughtfulbae resurfaced a post from October 2021 where they proposed the idea of Eminem’s next project being called “The Death of Slim Shady.” The fan’s concept involved Eminem bidding farewell to his legendary persona, reflecting on his controversies and the impact of his outrageous persona on his life. They also suggested a shift in Eminem’s lyrical style, focusing more on substance rather than delivery.

Interestingly, the fan also predicted a change in the album’s sound, with production from The Alchemist, DJ Premier, Q-Tip, 9th Wonder, Madlib, and Daringer, instead of Eminem’s usual collaborator Dr. Dre.

This prediction has garnered attention and left many fans in awe, with the fan responding to their correct guess with a series of question marks.

Eminem has previously “killed off” his alter ego Slim Shady in the past, notably in his 2005 track “When I’m Gone.” However, it seems that the 2021 version of “The Death of Slim Shady” differs from the fan’s concept in one crucial aspect โ€“ Dr. Dre’s involvement in the album, as confirmed by Dre himself on Jimmy Kimmel’s show.

With anticipation building for Eminem’s new album, fans are eager to see how the real-life version of “The Death of Slim Shady” compares to the fan’s visionary concept.
