The Weeknd Donates $2 Million to WFP’s Humanitarian Efforts in Gaza

Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye, known for his chart-topping hits and philanthropic efforts, is once again making headlines for his generous donation to the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) in support of Gaza. With an additional $2 million from his XO Humanitarian Fund, Tesfaye is helping to provide essential food assistance to over 157,000 Palestinians in need.

This latest contribution comes on the heels of Tesfaye’s previous donation of $2.5 million in December 2023, which helped feed over 173,000 Palestinians facing food insecurity.
