Drake Makes Billboard History with 3,000 Weeks on Chart, Feuds with Kendrick Lamar
Drake has made music history once again, becoming the only act besides The Beatles to chart on the Billboard 200 for at least 3,000 cumulative weeks. The news, shared by Chart Data on social media, solidifies Drake’s place among music legends. Last year, he tied Michael Jackson for the most No. 1 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart ever.
However, Drake’s historic achievement comes amidst a feud with fellow rapper Kendrick Lamar. Drake recently released diss tracks “Family Matters” and “The Heart Part 6” aimed at Lamar, who responded with “Meet The Grahams” and “Not Like Us.” The latter track broke records for most streams in a single day on both US and Global Spotify charts for a rap song.
In other news, a security guard was shot outside Drake’s Toronto home earlier this week, with several trespassing incidents following. Lamar even used an aerial view of Drake’s home as the cover art for “Not Like Us,” featuring edited sexual offender icons over the property.
Despite the escalating tensions, neither Drake nor Lamar has released any new diss tracks recently. Fans are eagerly awaiting further updates on the feud and Drake’s music career. Stay tuned for more updates on HotNewHipHop.
