Steve Buscemi Assaulted in New York City: Attacker Still on the Run
Steve Buscemi, the beloved actor known for his roles in iconic films like Pulp Fiction and Fargo, was the victim of a random act of violence in New York City last week. According to a report from The New York Post, Buscemi was walking through the Kips Bay neighborhood of Manhattan when a stranger punched him in the face unprovoked.
The attack left Buscemi with swelling on his face and left eye, prompting him to seek treatment at Bellevue Hospital. His publicist confirmed the incident, stating that Buscemi is okay but saddened by the senseless violence in the city.
The NYPD has released surveillance photos of the alleged attacker, who is still on the run. The photos show a man wearing a baseball hat, a blue t-shirt, and black sweatpants.
This incident comes just months after Buscemi’s Boardwalk Empire co-star, Michael Stuhbarg, was also a victim of random violence in New York City. Stuhbarg was hit with a rock in the back of the neck in the Upper East Side earlier this year.
Fans of Buscemi and concerned citizens are urged to stay vigilant and report any information regarding the attacker to the authorities. Stay tuned for updates on this developing story.
