Master P Vows to Bring NBA Championship to New Orleans if Given Coaching Job
Master P, the hip-hop mogul known for his love of basketball, has set his sights on bringing an NBA championship to his hometown team, the New Orleans Pelicans. In a recent interview with TMZ, Master P expressed his confidence in the team’s potential, stating, “I think we got a great team. I just think that maybe we gotta wait a couple more years.”
Not content to sit on the sidelines, Master P volunteered to join the coaching staff in order to help lead the Pelicans to victory. With his son Mercy Miller, a rising basketball star in his own right, by his side, Master P is ready to make a difference both on and off the court.
Last year, Mercy Miller made headlines by breaking his high school scoring record with a remarkable 68-point game. His impressive performance caught the attention of University of Houston’s head coach Kevin Sampson, who praised Mercy’s skills and dedication to the game.
“I saw Mercy after his 10th grade season at a tournament in Houston. I was impressed with the way he made shots but also his unselfishness. Mercy is serious about his game. He wants to be the best player he can be,” Coach Sampson said.
With Master P’s passion for basketball and Mercy Miller’s talent on the rise, the future looks bright for the New Orleans Pelicans. If given the opportunity to join the coaching staff, Master P is determined to lead the team to victory and bring a championship home to New Orleans.
