Wendy Williams Sells Lavish NYC Condo Amid Health Struggles and Financial Woes

Wendy Williams, the iconic talk show host, recently made headlines as her luxurious New York City condo was sold for a significant decrease in price. The once $4.5 million home was purchased for $3.75 million, marking a substantial loss of nearly $830,000.

The stunning 2,400 square foot condo featured three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and high-end finishes such as Miele appliances and marble accents. Situated in a building with top-notch amenities including a fitness center, lap pool, steam room, jacuzzi, and sauna, the property was truly a luxurious retreat.

The decision to sell the condo was made by Williams’ guardian, as the talk show host has been facing health challenges related to her Grave’s Disease diagnosis, aphasia, lymphedema, and dementia. Additionally, Williams is reportedly dealing with a federal tax lien, owing over half a million dollars in taxes.

Despite the unfortunate circumstances surrounding the sale, Williams’ close source revealed that it was not an ideal situation for her. The source mentioned that Williams had always dreamed of living in a Manhattan apartment but never had the chance to do so.

In addition to selling her condo, Williams has also had to part ways with personal belongings, including her iconic “Hot Topics” purple chair from her talk show. With recent news of her ex-husband potentially paying back some alimony money, fans are hopeful that Williams will soon find a new home that matches her dreams and aspirations.
