2024 SWAC Baseball Tournament Seedings Announced

The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) has set the stage for an exciting baseball tournament as the seedings have been announced for the 2024 SWAC Baseball Tournament. Florida A&M and Texas Southern emerged as the top teams in their divisions, claiming the No. 1 seeds.

Florida A&M, with a record of 22-8 in SWAC play, secured the No. 1 seed from the Eastern Division. They will be joined by Bethune-Cookman as the No. 2 seed, Alabama State as the No. 3 seed, and Jackson State as the No. 4 seed.

On the other side, Texas Southern finished with an 18-6 record in SWAC play to claim the No. 1 seed from the Western Division. Grambling State, Prairie View A&M, and Southern round out the Western Division seedings as the No. 2, No. 3, and No. 4 seeds respectively.

The tournament will follow a double-elimination format, with games kicking off on Wednesday, May 22nd. Fans can expect a full schedule of games running through May 26th, culminating in the Championship Game on Sunday, May 26th at 1:00 p.m.
