Lloyd Claps Back at Funny Marco Over Song About Cheating

R&B singer Lloyd found himself in a heated exchange with comedian Funny Marco over his old song about infidelity, “Player’s Prayer.” Marco took to Instagram to share a DM conversation he had with Lloyd, questioning why he was playing around with a girl in the first place in the lyrics.

Lloyd, clearly taken aback by the line of questioning, responded by asking Marco why he was bringing up something from almost 20 years ago. He emphasized that he now has kids and more important things to focus on, threatening to block Marco if he continued.

The comedian, however, continued to poke fun at Lloyd, claiming that the song motivated people to cheat and ruined his 10th-grade relationship. He even urged his followers to tag Lloyd since he had been blocked.

Despite the back-and-forth, Lloyd seemed to take the jokes in stride, revealing that he wrote the song for his tall girlfriend who caught him cheating with a shorter girl. He also recently shared a heartfelt message to Nelly and Ashanti’s unborn child, expressing his excitement to meet the baby and make them laugh.

The exchange between Lloyd and Funny Marco may have started off on a tense note, but it seems like both parties were able to find humor in the situation in the end.
