Man Arrested in Arizona for Planning Mass Shooting at Rap Show in Atlanta, Intending to Start Race War

The arrest of Mark Adams Prieto in Arizona has sent shockwaves through the community as details of his planned mass shooting at a rap show in Atlanta have emerged. Prieto’s intention to incite a race war ahead of the 2024 Presidential Election has raised concerns about the safety and security of the public.

The investigation into Prieto’s activities began in October 2023 after a reliable source revealed his desire to spark a race war. The FBI led a months-long investigation that uncovered Prieto’s plans to sell rifles to individuals in preparation for the mass shooting. Prieto was eventually apprehended by the United States Department of Justice and indicted by a federal grand jury.

Court documents reveal that Prieto had targeted Atlanta, specifically the African-American community, as the location for his planned attack. His intention to leave behind Confederate flags and shout “KKK all the way” as a sign of his hatred towards minorities is deeply disturbing.

Prieto’s arrest while driving through New Mexico on his way to visit his mother in Florida resulted in the discovery of seven firearms in his possession. A search of his home uncovered even more guns, including an unregistered short-barreled rifle.

The charges against Prieto include firearms trafficking, transfer of a firearm for use in a hate crime, and possession of an unregistered firearm. Each conviction carries a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison, a $250,000 fine, or both. The seriousness of Prieto’s planned actions and the potential consequences of his charges highlight the importance of preventing hate crimes and ensuring the safety of all individuals in our communities.
