Tragic Shooting of Bronx Teen Leaves Community in Shock and Grief

A Bronx mother’s world was shattered when she received the devastating news that her 16-year-old son, Alberto “Amir” Roque, had been fatally shot in broad daylight while watching a group of men play dice outside a smoke shop. The incident, which occurred just feet away from the NYPD’s 42nd Precinct, left the community in shock and mourning.

According to reports, Roque got into an argument with one of the men, who then pulled out a gun and shot him in the head.
