The Game Faces Potential Home Seizure Amid Lawsuit Over Allegations of Sexual Battery
Rapper The Game is facing a potential threat to his home as a result of a lawsuit filed against him back in 2015. Priscilla Rainey, a former contestant on The Game’s VH1 reality show “She’s Got Game,” accused the rapper of sexual battery and was awarded $7 million in damages the following year. However, Rainey claims she has yet to receive any payment from The Game.
In response to his refusal to pay, Rainey has taken legal action to seize The Game’s assets, including his publishing and label. Now, she is targeting his home in Calabasas in an attempt to force him to fulfill the court-ordered payment.
Court documents obtained by AllHipHop reveal that Rainey served The Game and his manager Wack 100 with a notice of levy and writ of execution in June. Rainey alleges that The Game transferred the deed of his Calabasas home to Wack 100 in an effort to prevent her from seizing it.
The Game has vehemently denied the allegations against him, claiming that Rainey only filed the lawsuit after being removed from the reality show. In a post on Instagram in 2016, he stated, “Don’t be fooled by these accusations or the dollar amount in the headlines cause I put that on my favorite aunties poodle this broad ain’t gettin shit!”
As the legal battle continues, The Game’s financial stability and ownership of his home hang in the balance.
