Suspects Arrested in Murder of Alleged Sugar Daddy: Torn Ligament Key to Solving Mystery
The search for the suspect behind the brutal murder of Fasil Teklemariam, an alleged sugar daddy found butchered in his Washington D.C. apartment, has finally come to an end. Authorities have arrested two women, Tiffany Gray, 22, and Audrey Miller, 19, in connection with the crime.
Teklemariam was discovered dead in April, covered in stab wounds, cuts, and broken glass, with his right thumb missing. The investigation into his murder revealed that Gray and Miller were seen on surveillance footage using his key fob to access his home and stealing electronics and watches. Witnesses also indicated that the victim had relationships with both women, further implicating them in his death.
A crucial breakthrough in the case came when investigators learned of a previous complaint filed by Teklemariam, accusing Gray of stealing money from his finance app using his phone. The victim’s cellphone last pinged from a tower near where Gray rented an apartment, linking her to the crime scene.
Authorities believe that Gray and Miller worked together to access Teklemariam’s financial accounts using his severed thumb, using the stolen money to indulge in luxuries like liquor and marijuana. Miller has been arrested on charges of first-degree murder and armed felony murder, while Gray faces the same charges and a potential third suspect is still being sought.
As the two suspects await their preliminary hearings in custody, the community is left shocked by the gruesome details of the case and relieved that justice is being served in the tragic death of Fasil Teklemariam.
