Compton rapper Kendrick Lamar is now entitled to eat for free for life at Tam’s Burgers, the Compton-based burger spot featured in his recent music video for “Not Like Us.” The news was confirmed by the owner of the Compton branch, Spiro Vovos, who expressed his gratitude for the spike in business following the video release.

The video, which features Kendrick and Mustard pulling up to Tam’s in a flashy Lambo, has garnered over 49 million views in just one week. The owners of Tam’s, who have known Kendrick since he was a teenager, allowed the filming to take place without charge and even had a mural dedicated to the song erected on the side of the building.

In addition to the free meals, Kendrick also has his pick of the menu at Tam’s for life. The owners are thrilled for the exposure and are happy to show their appreciation to the Grammy-winning artist.

The “Not Like Us” video includes several subtle digs at Kendrick’s rival, Drake, including scenes of Kendrick busting open an owl-shaped piñata and staring at an owl in a cage. The video also features Kendrick dancing with his fiancée and children, who were dragged into the feud by Drake.

With the success of the video and the generous offer from Tam’s Burgers, it seems like Kendrick Lamar has plenty to celebrate in his hometown of Compton.
