Former “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” Star Apollo Nida Arrested for Assault After Alleged Attack on Wife Sherien Almufti

Former “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Phaedra Parks’ ex-husband Apollo Nida found himself in trouble with the law once again, this time for assault. Nida was arrested after his wife Sherien Almufti, also known as Sherien Copes, accused him of physically attacking her during a heated argument at their home.

According to reports, the altercation between Nida and Copes occurred after she returned home from a night out with friends. The argument escalated when Nida allegedly showed Copes a video of her kissing another man, leading to a physical altercation where Nida reportedly pulled her hair and pushed her against a refrigerator.

Copes managed to escape the situation and called the police for help. When law enforcement arrived, Copes showed them video surveillance footage of the altercation, although it did not capture the physical violence. Nida was taken into custody and charged with domestic violence and simple assault.

This is not the first time Nida has had a run-in with the law, as he has previously served time in prison for conspiracy to commit mail, wire, and bank fraud. Despite the incident, Copes stated that they have worked through their issues and have been attending couples therapy to strengthen their relationship.
