Nick Cannon Opens Up About Wanting to Rekindle Relationship with Mariah Carey
Nick Cannon recently made headlines when he expressed his desire to rekindle his relationship with ex-wife Mariah Carey. The “Wild’N Out” host opened up during a recent interview about his feelings towards the iconic singer, hinting that he still harbors strong feelings for her.
During the premiere for season two of Wondery’s popular podcast video series, “We Playin’ Spades,” Nick revealed, “Yes, absolutely. I’d be stupid if I wouldn’t. We belong together.” However, he also joked that Mariah might not want him back due to him leaving and having a large number of children after their divorce.
After six years of marriage, Nick and Mariah announced their split in 2014. They share two children, 13-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe, together. Since their divorce, Nick has fathered eleven other children, but surprisingly, he shared that all the mothers of his children get along in an “amazing” way.
Nick emphasized the importance of everyone living their own lives and focusing on themselves, rather than worrying about others. He highlighted the significance of ensuring the children are happy and have a strong understanding of the situation.
Reflecting on his twins with Mariah, Nick joked about their joint parenting coming to an end soon as the kids are now teenagers. He also praised Mariah for being a supportive figure during challenging times, referring to her as the “perfect helpmate, matriarch, mom, and wife.”
It seems like Nick Cannon is not giving up on the idea of reuniting with Mariah Carey, and fans are eagerly waiting to see if the former couple will give their relationship another shot.
