The Oscar winner revealed that she has suffered a total of 10 broken bones and has been knocked out three times while working on these high-intensity projects.
Berry detailed her injuries, including broken arms, ribs, tailbone, toes, and even a finger. Despite the physical toll, she has also acquired new skills along the way, such as studying martial arts and combat styles for her various roles.
The actress, who has been in the industry since the late ’80s, expressed her frustration at not receiving the recognition she deserves for her talent. As a Black actress, she acknowledges the disparities in opportunities compared to her peers. Even when faced with a major injury while filming “Bruised,” Berry powered through to complete the project.
