“USTA and ESPN Collaborate with Alicia Keys’ Broadway Musical Hell’s Kitchen for 2024 US Open”

The USTA and ESPN have announced a groundbreaking collaboration with Alicia Keys’ Broadway Musical Hell’s Kitchen, bringing the music of the show to the forefront of the upcoming US Open. The collaboration will feature a custom remix of the song “Kaleidoscope” from the musical, created specifically for the event.

The remix will be featured in the US Open Manifesto Video, narrated by Tony Award winner Kecia Lewis, and will debut on Opening Night of the Main Draw on August 26. The video will be broadcast on ESPN in the U.S. and in over 200 countries worldwide, as well as played throughout the tournament at Arthur Ashe Stadium and the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.

In addition to the Manifesto Video, ESPN will incorporate the custom remix and footage from the USTA shoot featuring bucket drummers in New York City into their promotional campaign for the 2024 US Open. The campaign will feature VO from Kecia Lewis and will run across all platforms leading up to and during the tournament.

The collaboration with Hell’s Kitchen aligns with the US Open’s marketing campaign, “Spectacular Awaits,” and theme, “Celebrating the Power of Tennis.” The USTA aims to reach new audiences and increase accessibility to the sport, promoting its health and wellness benefits.

Both the USTA and ESPN are excited about this unique collaboration, which aims to celebrate the vibrancy of the US Open and the city of New York. Alicia Keys, lead producer of Hell’s Kitchen, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to connect with new audiences through the music of the show.

The US Open, a three-week celebration of tennis, will kick off with Fan Week on August 19, leading up to the Main Draw starting on August 26. The tournament will conclude with the Women’s Singles Final on September 7 and the Men’s Singles Final on September 8. Tickets for Hell’s Kitchen are available at HellsKitchen.com and Telecharge.com, as well as at the Shubert Theatre box office.
