Tragic Murder-Suicide Witnessed by Brooklyn Mother Involving Her Son

A Brooklyn mother’s Memorial Day turned into a nightmare when she witnessed a tragic murder-suicide involving her own son. The horrifying incident unfolded in an apartment on Ocean Ave in Midwood, where Norma Knight woke up to the sound of her son, Teddy, arguing with his girlfriend, Tanezia Blockwood.

According to reports, the couple’s young children were present during the altercation, adding to the heartbreaking nature of the situation. Knight revealed that the pair had been having ongoing issues related to their children and living expenses. Blockwood had plans to move out with her kids, but things took a deadly turn as she tried to pack her belongings.

In a chilling account, Knight described how Teddy retrieved a gun from a cupboard and shot Blockwood before turning the weapon on himself in front of her. The police arrived to find both individuals dead from gunshot wounds to the head.

The couple had been together for eight years, and Blockwood was on the verge of completing nursing school and working at a local hospital. Authorities are still investigating the tragic event, although it appears to be a murder-suicide.
