Jeezy and Jeannie Mai Reach Settlement in Messy Divorce Case

After months of legal battles and drama, rapper Jeezy and TV host Jeannie Mai have reportedly settled their messy divorce. The couple, who announced their split in September 2023, have been embroiled in a contentious dispute over custody of their two-year-old child Monaco.

Jeannie allegedly wanted to have another child with Jeezy through IVF, but he declined and filed for divorce. This led to accusations of physical and verbal abuse, child neglect, and concerns about gun safety in the presence of their child. Jeezy initially sought primary custody but later amended his request for equal custody.

Now, legal documents obtained by Entertainment Tonight reveal that Jeezy and Jeannie have reached an undisclosed settlement. The details, including child support and a permanent parenting plan, are sealed to protect the privacy of the parties and their child. A Georgia Fulton County judge has also prohibited the dissemination of the settlement agreement.

With this resolution, it is hoped that Jeezy and Jeannie can move forward and establish a more peaceful co-parenting relationship. The news of their settlement comes after the couple attended the grand opening gala at Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Georgia, showcasing a united front despite their legal battles.
