    JAY-Z and Frank Ocean Featured in Trailer for Gladiator II Starring Denzel Washington

    The highly-anticipated sequel to the 2000 Oscar-winning film Gladiator is set to hit cinemas on November 22, and the first trailer has fans buzzing with excitement. Directed by Ridley Scott, Gladiator II stars Denzel Washington, Paul Mescal, and Pedro Pascal in lead roles, with a surprise appearance by JAY-Z and Frank Ocean in the trailer.

    The three-minute clip is set to the iconic track “No Church in the Wild” from JAY-Z and Kanye West’s Watch the Throne album, featuring vocals from Jay and Frank. The sequel follows the story of Lucius, the grandson of Marcus Aurelius, as he becomes a gladiator in Rome’s Colosseum. Washington plays the role of Macrinus, a powerful Roman figure, while Pascal portrays the fearsome general Marcus Acacius.

    The original Gladiator was a massive success, grossing nearly half a billion dollars worldwide and winning five Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Actor for Russell Crowe. With such high expectations for the sequel, fans are eagerly awaiting its release.

    In addition to Gladiator II, Denzel Washington has a number of other projects in the works, including a remake of High & Low with director Spike Lee, and a Broadway production of Othello opposite Jake Gyllenhaal. With such a busy schedule, Washington continues to prove why he is one of Hollywood’s most respected and talented actors.
